Begin in Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, where you’ll explore historic landmarks, vibrant markets, and charming streets. Then, travel to the picturesque mountain town of Sapa, known for its terraced rice fields, ethnic hill tribes, and breathtaking views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

5 DAYS HANOI – SAPA TOUR
Travel Period: Valid until 31 December 2024

  • Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport, meet our local representative and transfer to the city.
  • After checking into your hotel, enjoy some time to relax before dinner. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

  • Depart the hotel for a 295-kilometer drive from Hanoi to Sapa via a new highway that traverses five provinces: Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, and Lao Cai.
  • Enjoy a comfort break along the way, with a stop in Lao Cai City before approaching Sapa.
  • Ascend to 2800m for breathtaking views and visit the tranquil pagoda. Hike 600 steps (~20-30 minutes) to reach Fansipan’s summit. Spend about 1.5 hours enjoying the scenery and taking photos.
  • Arrive in Sapa and immerse yourself in the vibrant traditional costumes of the H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic groups. Take a short drive to the gate of Cat Cat Village, home to the Black H’mong ethnic people, located at the base of Fansipan Peak. Explore the daily life of the locals and trek approximately 2.5 kilometers down to the valley bottom, where you’ll visit a waterfall and hydraulic power station. After taking photos at the bridge and waterfall, walk back up the hill to meet the bus for the return trip to Sapa.
  • Enjoy overnight accommodations in Sapa.

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • Walk to Muong Hoa Station and board the train to Fansipan Cable Car Station. Experience a 7-minute ride with views of Muong Hoa Valley, followed by a 20-minute cable car journey offering spectacular scenery.
  • Ascend to 2800m for breathtaking views and visit the tranquil pagoda. Hike 600 steps (~20-30 minutes) to reach Fansipan’s summit. Spend about 1.5 hours enjoying the scenery and taking photos
  • Return to Sapa Town by cable car and train. Have lunch in Sapa and enjoy some leisure time.
  • Around 14:30, board the vehicle for the return trip to Hanoi, with two comfort breaks along the way. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

  • Start with a sightseeing tour of Ba Dinh Square, including an external view of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his former residence (closed on Mondays, Fridays, during October-November, and all afternoons). Next, visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique structure built in the middle of a square lake. Continue to The Temple of Literature, dedicated to Confucius and Vietnam’s first national university, the “Imperial Academy.”
  • Choose to visit one of the following museums: the Historical Museum or the Ethnological Museum. Explore Hanoi Old Quarter, Dong Xuan Market, the Opera House, and take a leisurely walk to Hoan Kiem Lake to admire its peaceful green waters. Visit The Huc Bridge, Thap But (Pen Tower), and Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy free time for shopping in the Old Quarter.
  • Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Attend a performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of Water Puppetry at the theatre.

Note: For Muslim groups, the city tour will include a visit to Al-Noor Masjid Mosque (12 Hang Luoc Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi) for prayer, instead of the Pagoda tour.
