- Friday arrival, meet your guide at the airport and transfer to your hotel
- As the capital of Yunnan Province, Kunming is known for its rich history and cultural significance. Located at an elevation of 1894 meters above sea level, it enjoys a temperate climate and is often called the “city of eternal spring”
- Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore the city on your own

- Depart from Kunming and travel along the new expressway to Stone Forest. Enjoy a scenic 90-minute eco-bus ride to explore the Stone Forest, a remarkable Karst landscape formed over 200 million years ago by wind and water erosion
- After lunch, visit Sibeihou Village, a local Yi Ethnic Group Village, to experience its traditional culture and lifestyle
- Return to Kunming in the afternoon and visit Green Lake Park, the largest park in Kunming’s city center
- Optional Activity: If time and weather permit, participate in a Chinese Calligraphy session using water and oversized brushes on the park grounds from 14:00 to 17:00

- Your guide and driver will escort you to Kunming Train Station. Board the bullet train to Dali for a swift and comfortable journey

- Explore the scenic Er’hai Ecological Corridor Road, along the fault basin of Erhai Lake, known as the “Plateau Pearl” and a vital source of drinking water for Dali
- Wander through Dali Old Town, nestled between the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake
- Immerse yourself in the rich history, stunning landscapes, and cultural heritage of Dali on this unforgettable day trip from Kunming

- Embark on a 3-hour drive (180 kilometers) along the new highway to Lijiang with enroute stops at Xizhou Village, Zhoucheng Village and Shaping Monday Market
- Xizhou Village (Family Yan’s Courtyard), Zhoucheng Village (visit traditional hand made Tie Dyeing Cloth)
- Explore Lijiang Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site since 1999. Wander through Sifang Square (Square Street), a bustling area with a long history of over 800 years.
P.S. After the tour in Dali, the Lijiang local guide will wait the group in Lijiang.

- Drive to Baisha Ancient Town to explore the Naxi embroidery at a local institution, showcasing traditional craftsmanship
- Visit Yuhu Village, a simple Naxi minority village and the former residence of Dr. Joseph Rock, an Austro-American botanist and explorer known for his work on Naxi ethnology and plant species introduction to the West. (Optional: Skip the visit to Dr. Joseph Rock’s residence if preferred)
- Visit Zhongyi Local Market to experience the local lifestyle and shop for fresh produce and traditional goods
- Explore Black Dragon Pool, a serene park surrounded by walkways, willow and chestnut trees
- Visit the Dongba Museum, established in 1981 to study, document, and preserve the ancient Naxi culture and the traditions of the dongbas, the religious shamans
- Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring more of Lijiang or relaxing at your hotel

- Depart for Shangri-La with your guide, enjoying a scenic 4-hour drive with breathtaking views along the way
- Stop to admire and photograph the dramatic V-shaped bend of the Yangtze River
- Visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of China’s deepest and most beautiful gorges, renowned for its fast-flowing river, high peaks, and steep cliffs (lift excluded)
- Trek for around 2 hours from Halfway Guesthouse to Tina’s Guesthouse, taking in the stunning scenery
- Continue your journey to Shangri-La, stopping at Xiaozhongdian Grassland for a half-hour break
- Arrive in Shangri-La in the late afternoon and check-in to your hotel
P.S.: The Lijiang local guide will accompany you to Qiaotou Township, where you will meet your Shangri-La guide who will take over for the rest of the trip.

- Visit Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum to learn and try painting Thangka, a unique Tibetan art form depicting the sacred world of Buddha
- Discover Dukezong Ancient Town, the largest and best-preserved Tibetan town in China
- Walk up to the top of Guishan Hill to see the giant Prayer Wheel and enjoy the typical Tibetan-style views.
