The TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS marks a historic milestone as it newly joins the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors, becoming the seventh event in this elite global series. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Sydney’s iconic landmarks, the marathon offers an unparalleled experience, with a course that winds past the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and the city’s stunning coastline and neighbourhoods.
Scheduled for 31 August 2025, the event is expected to attract elite runners and passionate participants from around the world, celebrating endurance, inclusivity, and the unifying spirit of long-distance running. The TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS is poised to deliver a world-class running event that will cement its place alongside the other six World Marathon Majors.

Day 1: Arrive in Sydney (No meal)
[Friday – 29 August 2025]
Upon arrival in Sydney, transfer to the hotel by seat-in-coach. Hotel check-in is from 2pm onwards. You may make your own way to the race expo to collect your bib and race kit.
Rest of the day is free at leisure.
Day 2: Sydney (Breakfast)

The Sydney Opera House Tour – Choice of morning or afternoon tour
Join a Sydney Opera House 1 hour guided tour to discover the history, architecture and extraordinary story of Sydney’s iconic landmark. Beneath its magnificent sails lies incredible spaces and stories. Learn about the controversial history, unforgettable performances and exciting future of the Sydney Opera House. Walk through and see the House up close and personal. Gain new perspective and a deeper appreciation as the Sydney Opera House will be your finishing line the next day.
Note : Opera House stage lots of live performances, so venues are subject to availability at time of your tour and tour route is subject to change. This tour includes up to 300 stairs with no lift access.
Day 3: TCS Sydney Marathon Presented by ASICS (Breakfast)

After breakfast at your hotel, use public transportation to get to the start line. Get out there and make memories along the running course. Upon completion, return to your hotel via public transportation.
