Day 1: MALAYSIA- PARO – THIMPHU (Meal on board/ Lunch/ Dinner)

  • Rinpung Dzong  – Known for its Bhutanese architectural style, it houses the district Monastic Body and government administrative offices of Paro District.
  • Tashichho Dzong – A Buddhist monastery and fortress of the glorious, popularly known as Thimphu Dzong and one of the popular and biggest landmarks in Thimphu.

Day 2: THIMPHU – PUNAKHA – THIMPHU (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

  • Chimi Lhakhang – Known as the “Fertility Temple”, it’s known as a place which induces fertility for all the visitors who come here wishing for a child.
  • Punakha Dzong – A fortress built in 1637 was the ancient capital of Bhutan. Today, it is the winter palace for the monastic body of Bhutan as Punakha Valley, located between Pho Chhu (Father River) and Mo Chuu (Mother River.)
  • Temple for the Monk Blessing Ceremony – Experience the religious rites performed by Buddhist monks and lamas that represent the importance of mantras, blessing you with a happy and prosperous life.
  • Dochula Pass – Enjoy the breathtaking views of the snowcapped Eastern Himalayas, Bhutan’s most beautiful mountain passes. Druk Wangyal Chortens is made up of 108 small chortens was built to honor of Bhutanese soldiers who died in a 2003 military operation and dedicated to World Peace.
  • Folk Heritage Museum – The museum houses a rich collection of equipment, tools, household objects and artifacts from rural households, all of which offer a glimpse of the traditional Bhutanese lifestyle.

Day 3: THIMPHU – PARO (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

  • Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point) – A gigantic 167 feet high Buddha statue constructed in the mountains.
  • National Memorial Chorten – The most visible landmarks of Thimphu, the monument is also a stupa to honor the third king of Bhutan and focus of daily worship.
  • Motithang Takin Preserve (Mini Zoo) – Wildlife reserve for protecting Takin, the national animal of Bhutan.
  • Bhutan Post Office Headquarters – Bhutan is the world’s famous “stamp-country” and You may create your own personalized stamp here, and send those postcards to your beloved friends and family.
  • Handmade Paper Factory – The traditional handmade papermaking originated in the 8th century, here you can watch the most traditional way and process of papermaking.
  • Bhutan Handicraft Emporium and Authentic Bhutanese Crafts Street – Fet a taste of Bhutan’s traditional arts and crafts.

Day 4: PARO – TIGER NEST (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

  • Taktsang Monastery – Temple that was built on the cliff edge of about 3,000m, one of the most amazing temples in the world. You may choose to walk uphill or ride a horse to the midway point and continue hiking to the monastery.
    OPTIONAL: Horse Riding, everyone must hike downhill the entire way .
  • Dressed in Kira and Gho for Photo Shoot – Bhutan’s traditional dress is one of the most distinctive and visible aspects of the country. Today, you can try the national costume and take beautiful photos!

Day 5: PARO – MALAYSIA (Breakfast / Lunch)

  • Kyichu Temple – It is the oldest temple in Bhutan. The temple has the largest collection of cultural relics, and is an important place for daily worship. Hong Kong actor Tony Leong and Carina Lau held their wedding ceremony here.
  • Paro National Museum – Originally a watchtower in the town of Paro, it was renovated as the National Museum today, housing over 3000 works of Bhutanese art depicting the ancient cultural heritage of the country.
  • Local Market of Paro town – Last-minute shopping for some local products.

Day 6: ARRIVAL IN MALAYSIA

  • Your Bhutan journey ends here. Tashi Delek!
